Tax Information
**1st installment or Full payments are due January 31.
You may pay by cash or check. Cash is accepted for the exact amount only.
You may mail your payments to: Village of Cochrane; PO Box 222; Cochrane, WI 54622
Each tax bill is perforated at the bottom. Please send back ONLY the lower portion with your payment. You should keep the upper portion for your records. This also serves as your receipt. Receipts will only be sent if you enclose a self addressed stamped envelope.
You may also pay your taxes at the Village Hall (102 E. 5th St.) during office hours.
Office hours year round are:
Mondays - 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Tuesdays - Noon to 4:00 pm
Thursdays - 8:00 am to Noon
**2nd installments are due July 31 and are payable to:
Buffalo County Treasurer; PO Box 28; Alma, WI 54610
Tax information for prior years can be found on the web at http://www.buffalocounty.com/. From the site, select “Tax Information” and then “Buffalo County Land Records and Tax Parcel Information.” You can search by name, municipality, year, etc. You can access this website all year long. If you need a copy for any reason, you can print them right from this website.
